Biang Biang noodles. One of my favorite noodle dishes. FAT FAT FAT noodles that are super long and savory. QQ is the best way to describe it.
Cumin lamb was tasty but alas, cumin isn’t my favorite spice. But it’s pretty good here otherwise. The lamb was nice, thin, and tender.
This would be the one dish I wouldn’t order again. It was their meatball stew. The soup base was very thick. Too thick. The sauce was the mala numbing spice and the meatballs were very sour. I want to say almost old tasting but I couldn’t tell if that’s just how they are or if they really were old.
This was the first time I had jelly noodles and I LOVED them. They didn’t last very well as left overs though so enjoy them all when you order. They’re not super jelly texture as they still feel like a noodle, more like half jelly and half noodle texture. It’s very pleasant.
Basil clams were great. The only issue I had with them was how they were opened. I chomped on a few shell bits here and there and thought I chipped my tooth at one point ( I didn’t) I’d still order this again though. Great flavor.
