The food really does feel like home cooking. When I imagine being invited to someone’s home and they cook up some delicious home style Chinese cooking this is exactly what comes to mind.
My friend and I ordered the cold jelly, cold noodle with sesame, meatball entree, and wife’s noodles.
My favorite of the evening being the meatballs and the cold noodle with sesame. The meatballs are made with grated radish that give it an excellent texture and the flavor is to die for. The outside is perfectly crispy, too. All the noodles are made in house and deliciously fresh.
The owners of this restaurant have an amazing love story that inspired one of their signature dishes. The owner of the restaurant fell in love with his wife after she made a special noodle dish for him in college and after they were married she would made it for him almost every night as it remained one of his most favorite dishes. That’s how they came up with their signature noodle dish “Wife’s Noodles” which I thought was lovely!
